Writing in the dust of dawn!
Writing in the dust of dawn!

Hey there, again. Given that I don't like feeling limited or constrained to the (admittably wonderful) shoutbox, I am also formally inducting myself here. Is that sveet, or what? So, let's see, feel free to ask up to five questions to me, about life, the universe, or anything! I'll answer to the best of my ability, even if it means breaking into an aquarium and stealing fresh fish for you!
All I ask in return is the ability to do the same. Information is like the perfect drug, and sets my eyes on fire. It gets lonely in the sanatorium, hardy har har, and good gossip, mind-blowing discussions and even random chat 'bout pie keeps me from thinking too hard about the things I *really should* probably be thinking about.

I'd like to introduce myself properly, m'lud.
I'm lady alice, as you already know. I also make exellent tea. Feel free to visit me in my astronomy tower anytime. If you can find me. I love my stripy socks, and my antiques. I also play violin. I'd like to know if we could go adventuring sometime? My friend leticia (lettuce-chan) has a rather splendid aircraft.

Needs fixing, It's a bit dusty, and the plumbing, you don't wanna know. But she's a fine ship. Arr.

Here's my question. Who's the professor? *pours the tea*

Proper introductions... Yes, those are in order indeed. Thank you for them, it's the honor to make your acquaintance.
Hmn, Alice? I'm going to make it my goal to find said astronomy tower, because it raises the possibility of excellent tea and stargazing, which are both excellent ways of passing time. I also play the violin, although it's so terrible that it's how I fight my enemies. Sonic wave attacks! And yes, I would love to go adventuring, because there's so much to do and so little time, worlds to save here and there and everywhere!
Leticia, even if your aircraft needs a bit of a fixin' up, I'm sure she's more than capable! Sometime, I would love to sail in an actual ship that floats through the sky. The last time I tried, my arch-rival shot me down. Literally. It's how I got this big scar on my leg! Ah, not that anyone has to look.
As for your question, miss Belladora... *Sips tea and smile contentedly* The Professor is my charge. He guides me and helps me, and vice versa. I suppose you could say we adventured together because we were so much stronger as a team. I took care of the physical problems and... He provided the brainwork.
Well, that's how I'd like to remember it. But when push came to shove... I was just too weak. Haha. Funny how that works, ah?
But I'm rambling. A short question in return - what brought you to this strange land? Or is your astronomy tower kind of like a family business? *Sips tea contemplatively* This tea... Is frikkin awesome! Hahaha!

Well, in answer to you question about how i came here... hmm. I'm really not quite sure how myself, but I'm sure it is a riveting tale full of pirates!
My astronomy tower is my own personal piece of equipment. I watch the skies. I'll be watching out for you. I know where you are. *Tee hee*
I've been around, you know, i have traveled through the clouds. But i won't bore you with MY scars.
Look out for me. I move with the setting sun. *fare ye well*

Setting sun? I emerge into the sunrise from the darkness and oil. Down here in the bowels of Darcancia i work on my craft.

Hmn so you suffer from a case of temporary and mysterious amnesia, Alice? Curiouser and curiouser! The more I learn about you, the more I *want* to learn about you! Do tell me if you ever figure out the role of said pirates!
Although I must admit, I'm a little terrified to think you can tell where I am, it's kind of exhilerating as well! Do watch out for me, won't you...? I don't think your scars would bore me at all... And neither would stories about the stars and the sky.
Let's see then Leticia: I'm going to guess that if Alice is astronomical, your virtue is industry... Haha, and as for me, I just never sleep.
You know, I don't think I ever introduced myself? Please, call me Radek. It'll work for now.

Charmed, I'm sure, good sir. *Sticks out hand*
Trouble seems to be afoot, and it is always useful to know the skies.
If i ever find out more about the pirates, I'll tell you. But they are a tricky bunch, and not altogether trustworthy. I once had an entire chest of antique teaspoons stolen by them. They have yet to be recovered, so be on your guard.
Posted by Sacrificialamber, 5:56am, 26 Apr, 2009
Well, given that I've rather lost my own objectives in life, that settles it! The recovery of those teaspoons shall be my top priority! Anyone who'd despoil tea is truly a monster, after all! And if recovering said spoons (porcelin? silver? hardwood?) would be useful to you, well, that's just a bonus.
So, I'll set out soon! Ah, perhaps after finishing some more tea and reading some poetry, first. A true warrior fights with his mind as much as any weapon!

They were such beautiful silver teaspoons...
Here is my poetry... it is a tad... hmmm... morbid? others have said as much, you know. I dedicate it to the loss of me spoons. *sniff*
Once living, now beautiful in death, never again to feel the pain of the word...
Silence unbidden, cold fingers of frost cannot touch, something that lies so deep.
Darkness eternal, unknowing, unfeeling, pain clouds the vision, eyes now unseeing,
Seasons may change, winter to spring...
Yet all feeling once had is now lost, naught but a memory remains...
*Pours tea* You'll have to stir it with a pencil, I'm afriad.

Excellent! Although sad, those teaspoons will be sadly missed although the story of their dissapearance and that we shall use pencils instead reminded me of a book. Hmmm I have just noticed a rather large and painful papercut on my finger but I don't quite know exactly how it got there...
