Is it just me, or does every mystery here seem to involve something dead? :P

lol, you weren't supposed to reveal the title until Jason started the story tomorrow (or really late tonight for those on west coast).
The first one though didn't involve anybody dead, and the second one only involved someone dead because of the past.
I have a feeling theres a little bit of an archeological side to this one :) or at least Forensic Archaeology/Anthropology.

Now now, give jb some time. This is just his hobby. He shouldn't feel rushed just to please us.

Just making the title available by clicking on the vote button doesn't make it a very good secret in my personal opinion. ;) Jason, I love your stories, but that was cheap.

If one were to vote (which is is in no way required of you), one should only vote for selfless altruistic reasons and not based on the offer of rewards. Then again, you never know when I might put up some shiny vote bonus stuff... you might want to check every day!
I aim to keep the new story in the present and recent past this time, and not delve into Spider Cliff's ancient historical entanglements. No new characters for the time being.

Forensic anthropology doesn't neccesarily deal with things like 100 years old, its also used on skeletons that have been out for a couple of years.
By recent past, you mean around the last 100, 150 years? I'm sure you probably don't need to go back more than 200 years since the history thats relevant to the stories would only go back to the founders since Spider Cliff seems to have been founded in the early or mid 19th century. even if you only went back about 100 years, which is most of the extent of Spider Cliffs history we have been given so far, theres still a good deal of history to cover in that time span, and quite a bit for the last 50 years. Although the last 50 years would probably be a bit easier as Sherrif and maybe rebecca are around 50, although Rebecca seems more in her 40s. So with stuff from 50 years ago til now, you'd have a broader source. Although Alex still has the oh so great archives and he is something of a history buff.
lol, rambled on there :)

LegendaryNAS you have ruined the latest story for people who couldnt be bothered to vote.
Posted by LegendaryNAS, 4:53pm, 9 Sep, 2005
I fail to see how I have ruined the story. All we know is the title. Its about the corpse of some person we have never even heard of before. How is that ruining it?

Yes, that was unfair, hookman.
